About:

Officemail is the name of a hosted email solution provided by Telecom Xtra. Unlike regular email accounts that are provided are hosted on the xtra domain, officemail mailboxes are associated with a domain name. This allows for users to create personalised email accounts such as bob@companyname.co.nz.

Requirements:

• Domain (.nz or .com) needs to be hosted with Xtra - services not sold separately.
• No dial up account or broadband account is required.

Features

Officemail differs from the Yahoo!Xtra accounts and offers the following:

• Anti-spam filtering
• Forwarding (forward and keep a copy, forward and delete)
• Vacation response
• 5 aliases per mailbox
• 'Secure Remote' email - can use anywhere, regardless of network connecting from.
• Contact management/address book
• Filters
• 100MB mailbox storage
• POP3/SMTP access with SSL support.

Pricing

The pricing depends on mailboxes and the number of them. Unlike the Yahoo!Xtra bubble email accounts, officemail accounts do not come with 10 sub accounts, instead they are only provided on a per mailbox basis with 5 aliases.

It is possible to "email only accounts" with officemail rather than broadband and dial up, these prices can be found by calling Telecom Xtra.
