Talk:Telephone Service Providers
From New Zealand Connections
Hello,
In all/most of those areas, you should have DSL which is typically offered through Telecom (either in a retail or wholesale capacity). Costs for DSL services are fairly equal across the country with the exception of some areas where home line rental may be cheaper.
In terms of the backhauls - they vary from internet provider to provider, most of this is not public information as ISPs would consider this sensitive. There are some providers that offer 'broadband' services that are not DSL based, such as mobile data, satellite, or mobile broadband. We are building lists here as well as comparsions.
However, probably the best way to get visibility on this is to post on [geekzone.co.nz geekzone], rather than talk pages as these are typically used for discussion about articles and their content.
